Romano Toscano Stepping down

“If you are not in the arena getting your ass kicked on occasion, I am not interested in or open to your feedback. There are a million cheap seats in the world today filled with people who will never be brave with their own lives, but will spend every ounce of energy they have hurling advice and judgement at those of us trying to dare greatly. Their only contributions are criticism, cynicism, and fear-mongering. If you're criticizing from a place where you're not also putting yourself on the line, I'm not interested in your feedback.”

Brené Brown - Franklin D. Roosevelt

Blood, sweat and tears, that’s what it has taken – everything and more you have.

You started your startup from its fledgeling foundations and moved through different stages. You crossed a thousand crossroads and the last one made you think.

I am not a leader, I am not good at running this. I am good at a lot of things but at the age of 46 I need to admit I am not good at building the team.

But there are others better at doing that. A lot better.

But the question must be asked, when is the right time to let someone else captain the ship?

It is now, after decisions made privately and in the business this is the right time.

Whilst some inc is still wet on paper and some signatures are coming this week is time to focus on other things.

It feels strange and different but sometimes you got to give in to what you want most in live and step aside to let the company have the change to grow.

More on Thursday but its already a good Monday.

The picture says it all, taking a while ago whilst waiting for a flight.. Its Autumn, getting colder and you are looking in the distance..

Next flight..

Romano.
